I am wondering if you should wear a white gown on your second marriage or an off color? So many people seem to criticizes brides when they wear all white and have been married once before. Heck, I thought that wearing white meant you wear a virgin.  :dontknow:

It's YOUR wedding, who cares what color you wear as long as it's what YOU want to wear.  We don't live in the Victorian era anymore, you don't have to be a virgin to wear white.

i think it's more proper to wear something besides white for your 2nd wedding. but i also think that very few people bother with following those rules these days ;p

I agree. Screw this 'its about your family' thing. It doesn't make any sense.

I would hope that by your second marriage you're old enough to not care what other people thing. Ah, well, some peopl never outgrow that.

It seems a little silly to me, I guess. If white is really your color, then go for it, but expect a little criticism. Wearing a white dress when you're not a virgin is just tradition for the sake of tradition; it doesn't even symbolize anything!

Since its your wedding, I think you should do whatever makes you and your soon-to-be husband happy. Forget what other people say. This is your special day and you should not have to cater to other people's opinions.

You can wear a white dress if you like just remember at least half of the people there will be smirking. It is human nature to be critical, we love to whisper and chatter amongst ourselves. People like a traditional wedding ceremony, beats the heck out of me why.

 If you feel like wearing a white wedding dress go for it, it is your choice and no one elses.
