I send it all back and let them pay for the postage, just make sure all address are cut off and put in shredder. See i have helped the post office make more money. The spam i just delete it. No problem when you stay on top of it.

I do wonder where did they get my name from, I don't even know half these people whether its in my mailbox or my e-mail even in my spam mail...I am overloaded and the more I delete the more they come!!!

I don't like junk mail either. We always throw it away, but NEVER with our personally identifying information on it. That can be used by identity thieves for identity theft. I would advise everyone to get a shredder and shred sensitive information on junk mail and sometimes just shred your junk mail letters period before tossing them. Especially credit card offers.

I found an article on how to opt out of junk mail and it has some interesting comments, but it's almost a year old so it may contain some outdated info. Check it out if you want and see if it is some help to you.

Also I have found for me it's better to mark items as spam rather than just delete them. They tend not to come back as much when I do that. If you need to sign up for something and want to receive it to your inbox then just add it to your contacts/whitelist or get a gmail account with a better spam filter.

I'm on do not mail lists but it still comes anyway.  The worst part about postal junk mail is that it takes so much time to shred my name and address.

All of my junk e- mail  goes directly to the trash.  Never open it.  If I don't recognize who my mail is from, it goes directly to spam and then it gets trashed.  When I get junk mail in my mailbox, it goes from the box to the
shredder.  Hate junk mail.

I like some junk mail somewhat.. Like fast food coupons, the coupons that come in an envelope -(forgot the name) My favorite store advertisement sales.. I just weed out the junk mail I don't want then I have a place designated for junk mail .. every penny saved is a win me from the coupons! Though I dislike the fact trees are cut down to get us those coupons, I wish we moved on to hemp paper.

Actually I like junk mail...I like having my time wasted.   Just joking.  You can block email addresses from your email which will dramatically cut down on the junk mail there.

Most definately I dislike junk mail, probably two thirds of my mail is junk! I don't even read my spam anymore to see if it is anything I want to read and that is about 1/2 of my mail, then my regular mail is about 1/2 junk. I have to filter out the channels again because I am getting too much junk!!

junk is part of being social - but you can stop most - juno.com has delete - block sender - report as junk - but, you will still have to request that your address be removed or go to browser tools and click to block websites that you do not wish to follow you - all else fails report them or contact them direct

What I hate more than the junk mail itself is those companies that SWEAR they don't "share" your information, but DO anyway.  They take it upon themselves to add you to never ending lists of spam mail that just keep coming.

Here's another thing that's getting outta hand.  Have any of you noticed now that when you click on any youtube videos there's COMMERCIALS that play BEFORE you get to see/hear the video?

How about on television?  Each station has only a FEW commercials that play OVER and OVER and OVER again.  Literally 2 minutes for whatever show you're watching, then, at the very least, 7 minutes of commercials that are the same commercials they showed 10 minutes ago, UGH!
