Yep.  My husband and I make our own pizza entirely from scratch.  Love it.  Love it love it love it.

We shop at Sprouts - which is an organic grocery store - and they have the best cheeses and produce.  I make my own sauce, too.

(We also make our own breads, desserts, candies, everything.  We cook 95% from scratch.  There are no box meals of any kind in our home.)

Does French crust count? I take French Bread....split it down the middle, cut it in sections, add sauce, meats, veggies or whatever, then cheese. Place in oven to melt cheese, etc. Take out and serve. Quick easy and good. :thumbsup:

Yes, the local publix supermarket carries really good pizza dough in their bakery and with your own cheese and toppings it makes a really good pizza - just more work but its worth it.

I love homemade pizzas.  I make them with homemade and store bought dough as well as using biscuits and english muffins.
Have a wonderful day!

I once made a Boboli pizza, with their own sauce, some mozzarella cheese and some pepperoni. It didn't taste as good as I thought it would. I definitely wouldn't recommend that kind of pizza for homemade. Personally overall I still prefer store bought or restaurant pizza to homemade pizza.

My family loves making homemade pizza!! we usually get dough and pizza sauce from Trader Joes. The dough is like the perfect consistency, so yummy. They have it in plain, garlic herb and wheat. One pack of dough can usually feed at least two people, the dough is pretty thick and filling (even when stretched thin). I think making pizza completely from scratch is great because you can design your perfect pizza by adding favorite ingredients and even manipulating the crust to how you like it. Plus its a healthier choice than any fast food pizza. Its also a fun thing if you have kids. My younger siblings love it and have done pizza making for birthday parties and you can just let go and let them do their own thing, make different shapes, etc. But anyway we like TJs dough a lot
You should definitely try it (:

                                 Traditional Pizza Dough

* 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more if needed
* 1 (¼-ounce) package active dry yeast
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup very warm  water
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 2 teaspoon olive oil

                                               Water Mixture
Combine In a small bowl, water, sugar, and 2 teaspoons of the oil

Mix Yeast in 1 Cup of warm water . Then put in bowl.

 place the flour, and  salt in a  large bowl and mix until well blended. Slowly add the water mixture to the flour mixture until a crumbly dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the dough is satiny smooth and has an elastic feel. Add more flour 1 tablespoon at a time if necessary to achieve this consistency. Form into a ball and  place  dough in a bowl.

Cover with Towel & Let Rise 35 to 40 minutes.

Punch the dough down, cover, and let sit for 3 to 4 hours . :wave:

 :) Our family makes home made pizza and its great fun.  We have done the dough from scratch, making it wheat free with a mix of alternative flour and the crust is much thinner but I liked it.
We have also made regular dough with white flour.  We have found it just as easy to get the premade dough place it in a greased bowl and leave over the oven with a clean towel to let rise then dad rolls the dough and we put on our favourite ingredients.  It's great for movie night.

That totally counts.  We sometimes make french bread pizza, too.  It is totally excellent.  We use about 4 different types of cheeses.

And I always have to have pineapple on my pizza.
