I am from the the Us in Mass. I like meeting new members  on FC. I loved my visit to canada about a year ago but wish Canada wouldn't share so much of the cold air with us LOL  :peace:

I'm from the US, Minnesota specifically.  When I was a little girl, about 9 years old, my family took a vacation and we went up into Canada.  I remember it being pretty, kind of chilly, and the food was good.  People were really friendly, I wouldn't mind going back one day.  After all, Canada is right above Minnesota, so it's not that far. :)

I too am from MN... I also went to grad school in Buffalo, NY, so when I lived there, I was going into CA quite a bit. I always enjoyed the beginning of July in that area... There was Canadian Day on July 1st, and in the US Independence Day on the 4th. It seemed like during that week, both countries would have a joint celebration and became a very festive time for both sides of the border.

California, USA.  I used to always say sunny, but after the freezing last 10 days we hav had.............LOL    I use to visit Montreal and Toronto a lot when we did business with Air Canada and Canadian Air.  In December, Montreal streets are like freezing wind tunnels.  I see why so much of the shopping etc is down underground!   Beautiful country.  Great People.
