do you hire professionals or or you a diy

Depends! My dad's an electrician, plumber, etc, he can pretty much fix and build anything so i'd call him before I hired a pro!

We have done most of our repairs ourselves like replaceing windows nd things like that but when it comes to electric and gas, i call the pros. But try to get everything ready before the pros come. Like drain the hot water tanks and get everything ready to be done even to hauling it out. But when it comes to the painting inside soon i will do it. Hubby wears more then he gets on the walls. I wonder if it is because he absoulte hates to do it. And i like doing it. Now the outside will be restuctoed this year and they will spray paint it. Oh lordy don't give him the sprayer either.

   I usually end up hiring a professionals for most all of our home repairs, but I always ended up regreting it and wish that I tride to do it myself

We use both, we try to do it mostly ourselves, but windows and doors we dont, infact having new ones installed later this week, but doing flooring, painting, and building ourselves.

I'm a DIY by nature, but there are things that are just out of our realm. I would say however, that although I consider myself a DIY and self-learner, I struggle to find the motivation for a some tasks, but once I start a project, I'll finish it no matter what. Having said that, it isn't too often I decide to take on a project, unless it is totally and absolutely necessary.
