Financial decisions
« on: January 23, 2013, 06:31:33 am »
I learned that if I ever become unable to handle my money decisions, I need to appoint someone financial power of attorney for my accounts. Otherwise, no one can have access to my accounts to take care of my needs if I am seriously ill. It is very specific.

I think a trusted family member would be fine.  But sometimes that can cause friction among the family.  :confused1:

This is true. If you do not appoint someone to handle it for you it will go to the courts and you know what will happen then.
