A Movie that was better than expected

Have you seen any movies recently that were a lot better than you expected them to be?

I recently saw Jack Reacher. I went in with pretty low expectations, but thought it was pretty good.

I am so sick of what Hollywood is dishing out that I do not go to the movies much anymore.  I do want to see Lincoln someday.

well, with me i'm not a movie watcher! becuz the more i tried to watch @ least one movie, then its gonna make me get brainwashed that i wanna be an actress. and i really don't go for those things.

Cabin in the Woods. I thought it was gonna be just another new age crappy horror movie but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. It's not a scary movie but more of a monster movie.

Recently rented, "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Slayer," which is not my normal type of rental at all.  But--I thoroughly enjoyed it.  It was fun watching Lincoln go all-ninja on those vampires, and with a subject like this one you don't have to worry much about historical accuracy at all.  I liked it more than I thought I would.

Argo was a great movie.  It was very dramatic and complling.  I recommend it to all adults.  It will open your eyes to what can and is happening.

Hunger games was good, but I have to quit reading the books first! Hopefully going to see Lincoln this weekend,,,several of my friends say its awesome!!

I saw Parental Guidance last month and I have to say that it was better than I was expecting.  I thought it would be good but it was beyond that.  It made me laugh and then cry and then laugh again.

Oh, I so agree that Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was MUCH better than I expected.  But, thank you, I want to see Jack Reacher and now that I have read your endorsement, I am SURE I will!  It was just seeming that some of the more recent Tom Cruise movies have lacked the bang he had before.  I was not impressed with the Mission Impossible movies and a few others he has done, but now I will be sure to check this one out.
