I have just not been into much. I liked that little mini series that came on, Wayward Pines, but it is off now. Other than that I am basically watching PBS/BBC for the British comedies and dramas. There are several I like but they alternate seasons. Coming up is Downton Abby and I can't remember what else. Poldark and Last Tango in Halifax just wrapped up seasons.

TV is just plain lame.

Not that much into tv, I loved Swamp People and hotel impossible but the new seasons are yet to start.
I've been catching up on "24" on Amazon Prime.

I’m going to pass on The Catch (ABC).  It’s just about a fraud investigator named Alice Martin, played by Mirielle Enos who becomes the victim of fraud.

Been binge watching the Fourth Season of Once Upon a time to get ready for the upcoming season.  I just can’t believe what they did to Rumplestilskin/Mr Gold.  It’s like he went back to being his evil self once his son Baelfire/Neal died.  I rather liked the change that took place in him during season Two while he was looking for his grandson Henry and definitely in Season Three.  I know it’s all to clear himself from the dagger because he doesn’t want a hold over himself but still.  Willing to sacrifice the mother of his grandson just to get enough power to free himself doesn’t sound like the Rumple from the last two seasons.  What was that, just an act?

I just rewatched New Girl and I still love it just as much! Such a funny show. And I'm all about the romance between Nick and Jess.

So I rewatched the last couple of episodes of last season of Grimm to get ready for this upcoming season and I just can’t believe it.  This season it’s like they flipped everything around.  Nick lost his powers (by sleeping with Aadiline in Juliette’s form) while Juliette became a Hexenbiest.  If that wasn’t enough Aadiline winds up pregnant (of course it’s Nick’s child) and Nick wants to do what’s right by them which forces Juliette to go ‘evil’.  So evil in fact that her email to Nick’s mother get’s Nick’s mother killed.  Then when Nick can’t kill Juliette (because he still loves her) she basically tells him he blew it and tries to kill him only to take two arrows through her chest courtesy of Trouble.  Sheesh!  I want my old Grimm back when things were simpler and there wasn’t all this weird soap-opera stuff.

Honestly, I don’t think I care much for season four of Once Upon a Time.  It’s like they ran as far as they could go with three then had no idea how to go on.  Season Four has a lot of weird back stories that were supposed to play out between the back stories already played out in the last three seasons.  It was just really hard to swallow these new stories they tried to introduce because you’re trying to figure out just how they fit and at exactly what point in the storyline they actually belong.

I am glad Season Four of Once Upon a Time brought back August.  I really liked Eion Bailey as August W. Booth.  I just couldn’t see the boy they picked (a straight red-haired freckled faced kid) turning into August (a curly black-haired man with no freckles).  I also liked his story arc of helping out with the ‘Author’.

Ok, in the Season Four’s finally of Once Upon a Time I get that Emma takes in the dark one’s magic to save everyone.  It’s why she is the ‘Savior’.  It’s just her nature to do so.  But Mr. Gold?  It’s like this whole season he became straight Rumplestilskin and forgot about Baelfire and the person he became when he was looking for him—and the man Baelfire died to save.  I guess it was to advance the plot but I actually liked the later Mr. Gold rather than the one in Season One.  With a pure white heart now I guess this upcoming Season will see just what kind of a person Mr. Gold really is.  Hopefully it isn’t the coward he was before he became the ‘Dark One’.

Now The Player, which will air on NBC on a Thurs. night at 10pm looks good.  Now I like Wesley Snipes though I know the show will focus more on Philip Winchester than him.  That being said, the story of a former military operative-turned-security expert who is drawn into a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on his ability to stop the biggest crimes imaginable does sound intriguing.  I will definitely tune in for the series premier.

Watching *bleep* Executioner on FX and I have to say it is really gritty.  I mean being dark and ‘literally’ dirty is probably a closer depiction of the medieval time period than the polished up movies of the 50’s and 60’s but I don’t know.  I certainly could have done without watching the baron take a dump in the privy and then screaming at his page for scrubbing his butt too hard.  Again, though, this probably did happen in real life so while I honestly preferred the Tudors for it’s glamour it is a closer depiction of the time period than most other medieval pieces.

Just watched the Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris.  Now when I saw the coming attractions to it I thought, ‘Nah, it’s just another dumb Variety show.’  Then I watched the episode with Britney Spears.  It was hilarious.  I am definitely going to tune in for every episode as far as his show goes!
