Depends on what its uses will be, if you just want a new car, the Chrysler 300, or 370Z (not Chrysler) are nice.

I would go brand new...you don't want anyone else's headaches.  I am not sure what part of the country you reside in.  In Colorado it is necessary to have four wheel/all wheel drive so SUV's are really popular...especially subarus. I haven't had much luck with American cars...I had a Toyota Avalon that I bought new and it lasted for 210,000 miles with absolutely no problems...till someone totalled it.  I had a Volkswagon bug that required almost no maintenance for 250,000 miles and a Toyota MR2 that lasted for 260,000 miles. All of the american cars that I had started to have troubles aroun 150,000 miles. My wife has a Subaru Tribeca with 120,000 miles that drives like new.

Me too. My first choice is a Huyndai Genesis coupe.  Also looking at a Honda Accord coupe and Ford Fusion.

Although the technology is still a little new and therefore on the Raw side.  I would definately keep an open mind to an all electric vehicle depending on what your requirements are.  If your looking for just a quick home to work and back commuter vehicle they might fit the bill.  If your looking for a touring vehicle than you probably want to get something a little bigger and comfortable.

I'm partial to Toyotas and Hondas.  There's a new commercial on about the Honda Accord's handling ability.  I owned one once and the ad is very true.  It's almost intuitive, it goes where you point it with very little effort.  That's due to the rack and pinyon steering both brands use.  Very maneuverable and safe.  Plus they're both great on gas and easy on the maintenance budget.

I wish I could afford a new Nissan sentra but I can't.  I have a "99 ford and there is nothing wrong with it.  I bought it before I retired 10 years ago and paid cash for it.  But it was already  4 years old when I bought it.  It has been a good one.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

My daughter just bought a 2013 Ford Explorer.  ;D It is really nice and comfy and she loves it.      Believe it or not, it's not bad on gas either. Good luck on your search.
