Sometimes you don't get the chance to love the one you want and must love the one you are with.  I formerly dated a man who kept sleeping with older women because the one he wanted wouldn't have him.  It made no sense to me.  I came home because he was in trouble and he called me up to tell me to have a man because he was with an older woman.  I met a man and, although he is 21 months my junior, he is good to me.  We are married.

Love is tricky so you got to watch it when someone uses that word alot of people play with that word

I don't think most of us know what true love is until we've experienced life.  That includes some heartbreak.  I met my husband when I was still in high school.  We went go carting...him and I with one of my girlfriends and a guy she was interested in.  That night he and his buddy ditched us.  Literally at the local Tastee Freeze with no transportation.  As it turns out he was involved with another girl at the time.  I was casually dating and focused on high school activities so neither of us gave it a second thought.  Fast forward 15+ years we were both working at wal-mart.  Bumped into one another and went out a couple of times.  We didn't realize we had that excursion in common until 3-4 months into our dating relationship.  Both he and I had to live and learn to understand who we were before we were ready for each other.  I sincerely love the one I'm with.

So true!  I met the man I am with now when I was well beyond thirty and already three kids for me and two for him into the picture.  But it is perfect and I have never been so happy in my life!
