working in the yard

This is why I live in a warm climate.  We are stilling getting cherry tomatoes off of a plant we put in last summer.  I keep thinking it is going to stop, but it just keeps going.  We use our flower beds for a garden, then we also have some big pots that we put some plants in.  I    love the vegetables right out of our garden.

I used to love working in the yard but my sinuses stay so bad now that I very seldom do any work outside.  My husband tells me that if I go out more I would get used to it and it wouldnt be so bad but I have tried that over the years and ended up with sinus infections and killer headaches.  I may try again this year though since I keep 3 grandkids and don't want to keep them couped up in the house all summer.  They love it outside as most kids do.

It to early here in TN to plant much yet. I did plant my English Peas on Valentines day.

I haven't worked in the yard in a while. I kinda hope to be able to this spring though. It's so difficult for me to do yard work, but I do hope to be able to get out and do some soon. It always feels good to get yard work done.

When I was younger I love to work in the yard I like to plant flowers.

It is still cold here and i am getting antsy to get out with a garden and flowers. Also need to clean out my front flower bed and decide what else i want to plant also am tired of a lot of grass so am thinking of some raised flower beds there oh i love going through gardening catalogs. They get to wishing and planning and hubby is always shakeing his head but i get what i want.

That's kool. I was just talking about how pretty spring gets and they summer comes and boom the heat comes and kills it all.

Way to cold to even think about working in yard here; blowing snow and windy.  But have been reading some articles on gardening in raised beds so want to try that this year.
