A laptop. They now have all the functions of a desktop or tower computer but take much less space and are a lot easier to move around.

I have an Ipad, laptop, and all-in-one desktop computer(no tower) and each has their strength and Achilles heel.  The biggest downfall of the Ipad for me is that it doesn't support Flash video.  Now as to what you were asking I would prefer the laptop if I didn't have to replace the power cord every 1.5 to 2 years.  I'm really enjoying my new desktop with the exception of Windows 8.

Can you tell me more about this "lab top"?  I am not familiar with this term.  I definitely prefer a laptop over a desktop computer.

It depends what I'm using them for. If I am at work, I prefer a computer when I am at my desk. However, if I am walking the floor (cycle counting) I prefer the laptop. When I am at home making money on fusion cash, I prefer a computer. But if I am in my bed and don't feel like moving, then I prefer a laptop.

I like both computer and laptop but each for specific reasons even though I do not own a laptop I would like that for my alone time when the computer is being used by other family members I could be on the laptop watching movies or doing my surveys on FusionCash or whatever I feel like! So computer is for the family use and a laptop for more personal and funtime use.

I never owned a laptop so, I would have to say my desktop computer especially since I built it myself. I don't know what I would do without it lol

I have 2 laptops, a Kindle Fire and an Android tablet.  I like the convenience of the laptop because it doesn't take up a lot of space.  I want an i-Pad now and an Android tablet with built-in Wi-Fi; they have cameras on them now. :star:

I would have to say a laptop because it is compact and mobile. I change rooms very often considering I have a 2 year old who likes to go from room to room so to keep up with her I have to entertain her in every room.
