gout question & remedy.

Is anyone here suffering from gout and is there any remedies that are working for you. I have tried everything that other friends have suggested but it doesn't seem to calm down the beast. Running out of option. Calgon take me away. Ouch please don't come near my feet

Things I have tried:

Drinking 100% cherry juice
drinking Apple cider Vinegar
Not eating red meat & fish
Taking Allopurinal-Prescribed by Dr.(made it worse)
Not drinking Pepsi or cola-Seems to work
no oatmeal
no dark green(spinach)

I guess no one here is having any problems with gout.

mom was told by an older lady to eat fresh cherries or get the cherry extract from the herb store. it worked with the fresh cherries. only problem they can b hard to find at times.

i have done the fresh cherry and the frozen cherry and it has helped a bit not entirely but some

there's a show on cooking channel called 'the food hospital' and i think they discussed gout in one of the episodes.  they also have a website (they're located in england), so they probably have some pertinent info there,

The only thing I know about gout is my Grandfather used to stay away from Orange juice,because he said that would cause his gout to flare up.
