I have never actually used a dating website, but I have met up with people that I first interacted with online. Depends on your comfort level I guess.

i have never done online dating, but lately I have been thinking about.  There are not that many interesting people around me.  In all of my classes there are more females then males and the males are not interesting or cutie. lol So i think i might try it.

   yes I would try online dating, and with so many new forms to keep in contact like skype and texting, I dont see why it couldn't work

There's so many testimonials about how the online dating works and such. I do not disregard it completely, at the very least I would be willing to entertain the idea of online dating. But I would probably walk in, with anticipation, expectations and preconceived notions of what it might become, which I don't think would help me in the process. There's more risk involved, unless you meet up with them in person very quickly after the online meeting. Life guarantees nothing. You could find your soul mate in the most unusual conditions under the most unusual of circumstances. Online dating, is not exception, maybe there's a prince charming between all the wolves, but the same can be said in traditional dating.

Nope. i think its better to meet the person and hang out with them so you can tell if they are the one for you.
