Windows 8
« on: March 20, 2013, 03:07:00 am »
I got Windows 8 in my new laptop. And it not as easy as they say it would be I have trouble with it consuming in so small that I can't read. But and I can't figure out how to get back out worries reasonable summertime. But overall it's a lot of fun. Do you have any experience with Windows ages in the same way? If so how to use all the problem?

I am enjoying Windows 8, but I have not had the problems   :BangHead:   :dontknow:  you are talking about.  I have some hand and wrist issues, so the touch screen really helps me.

So if you have Windows 8 on your computer, do you need a touch screen to use it?  Or can you just point and click with the desktop apps?  I played with one at a store and thought it was kinda cool, but I wouldn't want finger-smudge marks on my monitor.

I have windows 8 on my new laptop and have not had any problems.  It just takes some time to get use to the new features and where things are.

I don't think I'll like windows 8.  I don't want to have to be touching my screen.  I like using a mouse and keyboard.  I have a tablet to use when I want to touch the screen.

I am using Windows 8 and I'm finally warming up to it, but only because it's been so customized that I don't ever have to go to the Start screen and I've got Classic Shell installed for the start menu back. Basically, it looks like Windows 7. There is the odd time still I'll open a file and I see it's about to launch a Windows 8 App  :BangHead: Let's hope that Microsoft takes notice of all the bad experiences and makes a more PC-friendly version.

I have an all in one desktop computer(no tower) with Windows 8 and mine is not touchscreen.  Perhaps it would be nice to touch the apps on my 23' screen, but it wasn't worth the extra 200 bucks to me.  I am not a fan of Windows 8 and if I don't warm up to it soon I will be removing it and installing Windows 7.

I customize each new Windows OS such that it operates as closely as possible to Windows Classic.

I had dealt with Windows XP, Windows 2000, and it took me a while to get used to Windows 7.  I am looking forward to seeing what Windows 8 offers in the way of change.  Sometimes change can be good. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

I just received my new laptop with windows 8 and I must say with the apps and things it is a bit experiencing but also very nice. I love it with the ease of not having to do the things you do with windows xp. At first I thought it was challenging until I just sat down and became one with my laptop and windows 8. It is a great windows version and my 9 yr old son loves it also. He thinks the apps are better to work with.
