I hate any kind of yard work!! If I had the choice of these two choices I guess it would be cutting grass. I hate to shovel snow!

Cutting grass is something better then plowing snow I think.

Anything is better than weeding.  I hate weeding and love to get outside to do garden design projects.

I live in Texas, so I rarely get snow an never enough to shovel. Lawn mowing starts here in March and I have already done a lot of that this week. I AM SO GLAD THAT i DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE BLIZZARDS THAT HAVE OCCURRED THIS WEEK. I will be happy to keep on cuttng grass well into October. I do need the excercise and can tell I have had some time off. Those extra pounds are going!

living in ca have never had to shovel snow,am i missing something?My son does most of the yard work gee what to do if he moves out. i like to plant flowers have to water alot in the summer .

I like to do yard work hubby does the mowing, and shoveling of snow if by chance we should get some. I  am so ready to get a garden in and have fresh veggies. I am getting ready to order me another shade cloth, because of the heat we need something to protect the tomatoes.

Neither.  The smell of cut grass from anywhere causes my allergies to act up; and shoveling snow is tedious and strenuous.  If it's going to snow, just let it be a dusting that can blow away on its own.

I use a zero turn riding mower so I would definitely say that I prefer to cut the grass over shoveling snow.  I did shovel snow and disperse rock salt this winter and it was quite a work out.

Hard to say which I prefer. Living on a farm,their both big jobs. I look at my time doing either chore as my me time. No phone ringing, nobody demanding my attention. Just me, my tractor and a country song on the radio.
I have my moments when I'd rather be doing something else besides cutting grass or plowing snow. But, when I'm done, I can look around and pat myself on the back for how nice the yard looks.
And lets not forget how nice it is in winter to be able to get out of my yard to the road to get to town.

That depends. The grass work I've done hasn't been as back breaking as illustrated as there wasn't too much to do and I'm helping in a group, but I've dealt with clean up of snow many times when I was younger and my arms (and sometimes back) always came out sore. Regardless of the number of people it's still tough.

Mowing the grass, then again I live in Texas and we don't get enough snow to shovel lol

I would rather cut grass it is allot easier and warmer.

I don't mind doing either. But I do hate raking leaves!! That's my least favorite yard work task.
