Membership Status

Does anyone know how the Membership status' work?  Right now I am a Full member, but I used to be a junior member and I see that others are Silver members.

How do you move up from one membership level to the next??

My dear, the more posts, the more you move up.  I am up to 415 posts with this one.  I need 85 more to become a silver member.  Good luck to you.

Yeah, it's basically based on the number of post you've made, anywhere in the forums sections. If you do the posting bonus, then some posts in some sections do not count towards the bonus and the posts have to be of a contributory nature to be accounted for. For solely to move up in ranks, total number of posts is considered.

As the others have mentioned, it only has to do with post count. Nothing exciting lol!

It only involves the total nubmer of posts you have made. I understand that Newbies are limited to the number of posts they can make per day, but other than that, the titles mean nothing as far as benefits.

Thanks for all the replies.  While I make sure to take advantage of the Forum posting bonus each month and add to these forums when I can, so I suppose eventually I will move up the ranks.

I need to make a correction.  I am a Senior Member and need over 80 posts to become a Hero member. I stand corrected.  I am doing my posts on my Kindle Fire after not being able to post for days.  My laptop is in the shop and my backup laptop died.  I need to call Amazon to get a replacement adaptor; I had to charge my Kindle with my telephone adaptor.

I did not know about this ladder about the posts but I have been posting and have been credited for 3 months so that is 90 post and I am pending for another 30 to be credited so I'm just a moving on up working on another 30 posts for this month

Thanks for the good question.  I was not sure how the posting worked or if it had any benifits.  By reading all the responses I now understand.  Most important is just to ensure you get your 30 posts each month.
One question if we do more than 30 post a month do they count for the next months count or every month you start from 0.

Starting at the first of the month, your counter is re-set to zero. Also, post more than 30 in a month doesn't give you any higher bonus (eg posting 60 in a month will still only get you a $3 posting bonus). So it doesn't really matter if you go over the 30-post threshold as long as you do make 30 posts in a month. I sometimes go over just to ensure that if one of my posts get thrown out for being too small, I'll have a few backup so that I'll still get that bonus. Also, make sure that when you have reached the 30-posts, that you fill out the posting-bonus form; last month I was an idiot since I made the 30 posts, but forgot to fill out the form.
