I grew up in the 90's watching classic Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network (who at the time used to show the even older stuff from the 60's and 70's as well because there was no Boomerang). As I've gotten older I've moved further and further away from American Cartoons in exchange for foreign stuff (anime anyone?) and it's only because American cartoons really, really suck nowadays and are demoralizing. If they were still like they were back in the good ol' days when I was a child then I would still watch American animation. There's only one American cartoon I currently enjoy and it's because it reminds me of the stuff I grew up with, that show is "Phineas & Ferb" on Disney. I also like to watch re-runs of any Butch Hartman show (Danny Phantom & Fairly Odd parents) because that stuff was also done really well.

Anyone here recall the goodies of the 90's like Darkwing Duck, Swat Cats, Animaniacs, Doug, Bonkers, Hey Arnold!, Kablam!, Mike, Lu & Og, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Pepper Ann, Johnny Quest, Rocket Power, Pinky and the Brain, Rugrats, Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?, The Wildthornberries, Tale Spin, and of course Captain Planet cause he's our hero! ^_^

I heard a radio talk show host say this the other day. Said he was in Sam's Club and picked up a CD of the Old Cartoons and there was BIG WARNING LABEL on it that said it was NOT SUITABLE FOR KIDS due to the violent content. ADULTS ONLY!!!

How crazy this old world is now days.Right is wrong and wrong is right.
