That show has been on FOREVER!  I don't get the continued popularity.  It's kind of like an American iconic show.  and the characters never age!

As long as it stays somewhat popular it will probably stay around. Pretty easy to switch things up with animation and does not cost a ton of money to produce.

It was supposed to end in 2013. The voice actors made 440,000. Fox had their salaries cut in half.

I have never watched the Simpsons and never will.  I was never able to sit and watch that show.  You got me as to why it's still on TV.

I like the Simpsons a ton more than Family Guy or American Dad, but I don't think that dumb humor (I have to admit) will ever go out of jokes.
