..........I have friends who named each of the children after the month they were born in....September (Timmy), April, June.   Then I have some cousins named after the season.......Autumn, Summer.  They others named after the town they were conceived in....Brooklyn, Madison.   We have some who the first name is the Sur name of the grandparents.....Hayes, McNamara.  As a teacher, each year's incoming class has a lot of names from movies popular they year they were born....Ariel, Madison, Tatiana.  I know some people who combined the initials of all the aunts or uncles to come up with an unusual name.  Whatever you name the child, remember they have to live with it......so don't name a boy Sue, or Apple.  Some name are really cute for a baby or a toddler and sound just silly for an adult.   Anyway. Congratulations and let us know what name you end up doing.  Sometimes when you see the baby a name just is all over their face!

I would try to stay away from anything unpronounceable.  If I were me, I would look up the most popular girl names from 70 or more years ago.  You might find something "old-fashioned" but not freakishly weird.

Keep us updated on what you decide.  And Congrats!

how about Ariel, Kristianna, Azure, Evelyn, Rosabell, Sylvia. A new trend i have been seeing is some people are using some of the more old fashion names to like olivia, stella, Geraldine just a few i can think of. Hope this helps. good luck with your Beautiful little girl. May she bring you much happiness.

My youngest Daughter always said if she ever conceived (she is 31yrs and has no intention to at this point), she would name it Destiny. And because one child is a lonely child, and girls run in the family; she would name the second girl child Tyranny. She figures between the 2 of them, they could take over the world!  :cat:

Lauren, Lana, Andria, or Emily... Not really unique, but it's rare (the types of names I don't see) and you can have easy nicknames for them... Btw congratulations

I have two daughters.  And they both have rather unique names.  Sevyn and Katya.  Katya was actually suppose to be Katerina but I put Katya down on the birth certificate...I dunno if I was so tired or drugged or what.  But it fits her.  With Sevyn  I wanted Alysia Kristine.  Her Dad wanted Sevyn Alysia.  We couldn't agree so we put it all together.  And you know what.  It fits her too.
