do you normally get off work on time/ late/ early?

i am a delivery driver for a pizza place and my schedule is very up in the air sometimes i stay 4 hours late or get off an hour early or on time it just all depends on the day but am rarely off at my "norma;" scheduled time it just depends if it is busy or slow and am just curios about other people do you normally get off on time?

I got off work on April 1, 2009 and haven't been back since.  I highly recommend retirement.

Sometimes I'm a few minutes late getting out but have to make sure I take it off by the end of the week.. or get called in the office.

I always leave work on time but I usually come in early. I am much more sharp in the morning hours I work in the Health care industry doing the billing.

My jobs don't have set times to leave. I do have to manage my time in order to make sure I get from one job to another on time. Some days I have several hours in between jobs and other times I literally have to go straight to my next job without eating or anything else in order to get there in time. At one of my jobs I will often request when I can go and she will agree to the time but I always stay later that is part of why I scheduled it as my last job of the day so if I am late I lose sleep but not my other jobs for arriving late.

I prefer the late shift so I usually get off work around 9pm but I may not get home until 11pm.  I have an hour and 1/2 commute but I only have to do it twice a week.  Rush hour traffic in my area is horrible so I really don't like early shifts when I get off around 3 or 4 because it takes twice as long sometimes to get home.  I don't like sitting in traffic like that so that's why I prefer the late shifts.  I sometimes get off around 2 but that's rare.  That's fine because it gives me enough time to get ahead of the rush hour traffic which starts around 3.

Right now, I'm only able to work from home.  So I pretty much set my own hours--which I love.  I try to have 4-5 solid days of work.  On those days, I start by 10 a.m. and continue on through the evening.  Like I'm doing today.  It's 8:00 p.m. where I live, so I'll be working for another few hours.  This way, I can take Wednesday off to do some travelling.  I tend to keep working until 10 or 11 p.m., with constant breaks, of course!

 Hate to say, but I'm almost and I mean almost late a few minute every day. I know bad, but I also leave a couple of minutes after my time is up; I evens up or they owe me. LOL

I only have experience with my part time job and generally I get off of work on time.  If I have to stay after, it's because I choose too or because I'm waiting for someone to get in and they are a little late.

I usually try to be to work early. I usually try to get off on time, but sometimes I am asked to stay over.
