Are you a real estate agent or broker?

I have my license in un-active status right now. I was active, full-time for twelve years and got somewhat burned out. The money was good and I developed some great networks of investors that I revisit once or twice a year for 1031 exchanges. I am  currently working two jobs and they afford me more 'real' time with my family.  I don't have to worry about calls at all hours because the investors that I work with are good at respecting my time and knowledge base.  They trust me and would never think of using another realtor.  Occasionally I will take on a new client as a favor for someone but I have really lost interest in pimping real estate.

No i am not.  Sure wish I could find a good one.  We have been trying to sell our home for several years and are frustrated.  Agents and realtors talk a great story but when it comes to getting the job done we are pretty disappointed.

About 50 years ago I sold a house and rental using a realtor and even though it sold at a significant profit the closing costs put me in the RED. That was the LAST time I used one! Now that prices are in the stratosphere, there is no way I am going to pay one 7% to do nothing I can't do myself with the help of my local trust service and my own skills in promoting.

We've always sold on our own.  It's worked well for us.
