Mercury Magazines
« on: May 22, 2013, 09:32:12 am »
Are the magazines truly free? I know credit card information is not required but sometimes magazines will send the bill to your address. I just want to make sure it's not some trial offer that I'll get billed for if I don't cancel.

I have not done that offer, but if they are asking for your credit card information you should read the fine print of the deal. Most likely, they will begin charging you at a certain point if you do not cancel. It might even require you not to cancel for a certain number of days thus making you pay at some point.

As for me and my household, I just don't fool with my card except it's really something I need so that if I am charged by error of omission or commission, I really don't mind. I stay within the limits of the free ones and then use my card for any that I think is worth it. Just a personal preference

Whenever I have gotten a magazine subscription from Mercury Magazines, I have never been sent a bill. There are no strings attached with that company. Whenever you are filling out anything for a magazine subscription, just make sure it says that you will never get a bill before you submit your info.

Thank u for the information, that was helpful. I stayed away from that offer as well because in thought there was a caught to it.

I've done this offer over a year ago on another GPT site. I did get the free magazines without cost, but it wasn't anything good like People or Entertainment weekly. They are mostly business, internet related magazines and I think only one of them was a paper delivered one. The rest were delivered to my email.

I follow a blog that will tell me when any good magazine is available from them. I have actually gotten Woman's Day and Popular Science from them. It's one of those sites that the good magazine subscriptions are few and far between though. I would have never known about it if I wouldn't have read it on a blog. I have gotten a free subscription to People also, but I don't remember if it was through them or not.

I also have gotten magazines from Mercury and have never been sent a bill.

It is a great company and it will send you free magazines in what you qualify for.

You may qualify for one I think up to four.

Good luck!!!!

Happy Earings!!

I think for some of the magazines they send a bill at the end of your subscription but you only have to pay it if you want to continue your subscription.

I've done this offer before, have gotten credit and never gotten a bill from them. If you ever do tho' (or from any of the magazine companies) all you have to do is write cancel on the bill and send it back... they won't bill you any more for the magazines.

I tried this offer a long time ago and for some reason it didn't work. Thanks for reminding me about the offer, I think I'll try again!

I completed this offer a long time ago and was credited back then. You basically select up to 3 business magazines and order on checkout and that's it. It was simple.
