New computer?
« on: June 04, 2013, 10:34:16 am »
Does anyone know what happens if my current computer crashes and I have to get a new one?  I know you have to use same computer with same IP address to be able to work on FC but I've got a sneaking suspicion my computer is fixing to give me some problems and I'd rather not be out for even a day on FC.  Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I'm on my 3rd computer and second house since joining this site and I never had any problems by switching computers or ip addresses

It's mainly based on your Internet connection since they only want one member per Internet connection I believe.  That's why you can't refer anyone living in your household using your Internet because of the same connection.  I'm sure Fusion Cash understands people move and relocate and everything from time to time and also technology tends to change so people may buy new computers as well.  I'd say once they see you update your contact information and address within the site where it asks for it under your account information they will put one and one together and realize that's the reason you have another Internet connection because you moved.  If something happens they flag the account or restrict your access then you'd have to open a support ticket and contact them and let them know what is going on.  If not then I'd say not worry about it and just continue what you're doing.

I was wondering about the IP 'restrictions' too. I take a motorhome trip at times that is quite lengthy and I am sure that in doing so my IP addy will be changed many times. I believe that I will notify the powers that be of my intentions before I hit the road next time to see what they might advise.  ;D

I still get on the site when I'm on vacation and I've never had a problem

If you get terminated for violation of the clearly stated rules, this post is not going to save you.

If you want to stay on the safe side, leave your home computer running with some kind of remote controal client like Team Viewer and logon with your laptop. Then you can run your HOME COMPUTER like the rules say you should from anywhere that has Internet access.

Thanks oldbuddy I've always wondered about this and I even made a post about it, but everyone was just telling me that there experiences were fine. I've never heard of that software team viewer so I'm going to take a look into it.

I have posted the same warning so many times I wonder if it's getting old, but then I read about one guy it helped and it makes it all worth it. Glad I did it!

@patti4me - As long as you have the same IP address you should be fine.  Make sure you clear your cookies/browsing data on your browser when on Fusion Cash because that helps with completing offers/etc.  Do you know how to delete cookies/browsing history?  If you don't know how to delete cookies/browsing history, Google it and write it down if needed.

I have ways of making money that you know nothing of.

Great question, patti4me, I'm glad you asked it. I was going to ask the same thing, because I am about to upgrade my computer as well. I shouldn't have a problem because my IP address comes from my internet connection, not my computer, so it shouldn't change. I think I will take Oldbuddy's advice, though, and check out the terms of service. You should, too. Good luck!   :icon_rr:

I think your computer nothing to do with it.  If I'm not mistaken is the connection from your internet connection is the main thing.  Each house have different ip address.
