I never heard of eyeball licking and I can't see how this can be a fad too. Is there a special stimulation I'm not aware of from this? I suppose this could be a little safer despite the bacteria than the "choking game," which sickens me.

This one has been around for a while, but, beware, if you try it, you may end up on a ventilator.  "Cinnamon challenge" is daring someone to swallow a spoonful of cinnamon without water.  Not a good idea!

I remember hearing about that awhile back.  Apparently someone took a dare to do that, and ended up in the hospital.  Yuck!

You would probably be surprised at what teenagers can get into.  Also, many of these are college students on their first time away from home.  The very latest one I read about is using a tube or hose to insert beer or alcohol into the part of the body where you don't usually drink beer.  They said the point of this is to get the alcohol into the stomach without it having to go through normal channels.  They supposedly can get high faster.  Who thinks these things up must certainly have something wrong with them.

I sure agree with you about that.  It's sad that some feel like they have to go through with doing these things, not just from the peer pressure, but for wanting to get in sororities and fraternities.

I have to wonder if the ones coming up with these things have ever tried it or had it done to themselves...

I totally just googled this! wtf is wrong with people??? it says it's a "school aged trend" and Chlamydia is a main concern because it causes blindness. I think Chlamydia is a main concern in itself regardless of the eyeball licking lol

Who comes up with these things?  How does one think - I really like you, and I'm going to show you how much I like you by licking your eye.  Ugh!  Common sense tells me this is a very bad idea.  Some people...<< shakes head sadly >>

Is anyone watching 20/20 tonight?  They have a segment about Stupid Teen Tricks.  They showed some of the things mentioned here.  If you have a teenager, please be vigilant.  Most of them, if not all, are very dangerous.

Actually, no, and now I'm on here too late to have seen this.  Perhaps they'll re-show it at a different time.  I have a friend who is having some serious issues with her teenage son, with some odd things, including getting caught with a group, doing those things.  She would probably be very interested in watching this.

I think many parents are not even aware of this.  Teenagers can be very sneaky.  I'm glad these weren't around when my daughter was a teenager, and drugs were not in full swing then.  I guess every generation has something new to worry about.

I agree with that.  During my teenage years, the biggest and popular things were smoking pot and taking LSD, and how it was cool to smoke.  I never did those things, but knew many who did.
