My favorite vacation spot is any kind of beach, or even any place with lots of water. It is refreshing to sit by the ocean.

One of the best vacations I've had was Boracay Philippines.

So far my favorite vacation spots have been in Bar Harbor and Boothbay, Maine; and Tuson ,Arizona.  Just a hint, go to Arizona before the heat and rattlesnakes, about March.  Lots of quaint bed and breakfasts in Maine.

Captiva Island in Florida is a really nice place, but it costs a lot. I couldn't afford to go there now. :crybaby2:

The vacation I remember as the best was a family reunion on Maui, we had a bunch of condos right on a golf course.  About 30 members of the family young and old.  Since we had the  condo's everyone got their naps in, we were at the beach and had some great bbq's.   There were enough people so that we had babysitters all the time and you could go out or stay for meals.  We did several bus (mini) tours, luau's, whale watching, Hana.  It was FABULOUS, most relaxed trip I ever recall taking.  We have had family reunions in the towns of some of the family, but that always seems to end up being a LOT of work for the host family.  Not nearly as relaxing for everyone.  But still fun.

My favorite vacation spot is Martinique (French West Indies).  The French cuisine is divine and the beaches are utterly fabulous.  The water was the bluest I've ever seen.  I spent two weeks there quite a while ago and I dream of laying on a beautiful beach like that again.  Loved it!

I love the ocean first, then, I have always enjoyed Las Vegas.  Haven't been there in years and it has changed alot so I might not enjoy it so much now that things are so expensive.
