I know and do understand but the extensive pampering and spending is most obvious you have to admit!

It really has nothing to do with the economy.

not being a disagreeable type of person and not wanting to be dramatic but this is fact: The dollar will no longer be the template that all other currencies soon. I`m an economist and my prediction has it failing around April of 2014. There are those that say it will fail by the end of this year but my real time calculations are probably more accurate, nevertheless it is inevitable. If the facts are dramatic and so be it

You do realize that you didn't actually present any facts, right?

Well one fact is the answer to the qustion that most 5th graders ask when they are introduced to US gonernment  and the economy, "why not just print more money". We have a standing order to print new dollars to pay the intereset on the national debt. This is unsustainable at the rate of 86 billion bucks a week, the dollar thus loses it`s value and other countries start a high tail bolt away from the dollar and the value can possibly lose half it`s value in a 2 month period, not to mention the way the debt payback is written up. This is easily looked up with a little bit of research, if you`re willing. There are plenty of doomsday links that will have one believe that the inevitable is a mass panic and martial law be imposed. This probably a bit exreme, however with the current world economic climate, some of these scenarios could actually happen, I don`t neccesarily believe this, but the like I said the possibility is more likely than most believe. Now that`s just one fact with a lot of personal opinion attached, sorry

We have been in trouble since obama took office. i didnt vote for him or mccain. They both lied. I know that everyone yelled at me for wasting my vote. I did what I felt was right. Everyone is entitled to their own  opinion.  Which everyone better give give it before that is taken away. We have already noticed due to the obama care thing that companies are going out. Alot of them are not giving more than 20 hours a week so they dont have to pay for health insurance. Noone actually sat down and read the bill. The elderly were having a hard enough time paying for their insurance. They have been screwed even more. Our veterans that have fought for our freedom and rights are being screwed. If it werent for all of them we wouldnt have them.  As far as the gun thing goes they are taking our rights away and giving them to the criminals. We have to protect ourselves. A lady at walmarts little girl was taking away. She had no way to protect herself or her daughter.  Just so everyone knows I do not have a gun. Whether i will get one or not depends on the economy. We are headed towards what russia had and now egypt. We need our country back. The constitution was supposed to protect us. Obama has not done anything but screw us all and yet we still have them people backing him.  Between him and his wife taking those expensive vacations at our expense come on now. There is a whole lot more than every one knows. Yeah sure the media tends to add a lot of hype the information is out there. He has a home in Hawaii ten million dollars at that. He gave himself a raise. We cant do that.

No need to apologize, but you're clearly not an economist of any sort. Possibly took an economics class in college, but that's it. In reality, the US Government paid interest of $212 billion in total for 2012, nowhere near the $86 billion a week that you claim. Their also not printing money to pay interest, as the US Government takes in revenues over 10 times more than the interest it pays. Besides that, the reasons for things being denominated in the US $ are more political rather than simply its relative value to other currencies. It's always a possibility, but certainly not a fact.

The government is clearly spending way more than it is taking in or could ever take in even if it took all of everybody's money.  I find $60,000,000 to be obscene being spent for an African vacation.
