I too have seen gray hairs for many years....I choose to color them, at least for now.

My mom is snow white on top and I have no desire to be like that.....yet!!  I think I'll wait til I am 70 to go "natural" :)

Ooops, my wife is 70 next month and still colors hers.

I couldn't care less.

I started getting grays in my late 20's and started coloring it in my 30's.  I still color it to this day but have to do it every 5 to 6 weeks.  I am now in my 50's and think that I may stop coloring it soon. I got my hair cut short about a month ago so I can let my natural color grow out. I may still chicken out and color it only time will tell.  :)   :cat:

I am partial to Loreal....none of them last too long.  I have been dying mine for 10 years now.  Scared to find out how gray I really am!

So i`m 48 pushing 50 have to dye my hair every 2 months instead of 3 and thoughts on which hair dye lasts longest? I`m 3/4 indian so my hair turns silver fast
I`m 55 and in the last 5 years I`ve lost so much hair I wish I had enough to dye

I am 47 and I have some gray hairs.  My kids say I look my age, but when I dye my hair I look about five years younger.

I will be 55 in 13 days and started getting gray hairs when I was 27.  A friend of mine (who has been deceased for many years) told me he saw 3 gray hairs in my head.  I saw them and yanked them out.  Big mistake!!  It is said that, when you yank gray hairs out of your head, they grow in quicker.  I am post menopausal (I wake up in the morning sweaty as the result of night sweats), but I still feel blessed to be here.  So many of my friends are gone.  I lost a dear friend to cancer last week, and he was only 55 (he was born in 1957).  My hubby says that I am gray on top, but I am hot down where it counts.

I have found that Clairol Nice N' Easy Gray Solution works very well on gray hair. It has good coverage, deep vibrant colors, and is easy to use. :notworthy:

I am 58 and refuse to dye my hair. That is just one more expense and inconvenience that I don't want to deal with.
