Don't want to violate rules here......but...
« on: October 08, 2007, 08:47:16 pm »
okay, I love fusion cash, totally...there are some things I never got credit for and I am still waiting for netflix to credit which is a big one to me. I know I will though and I am not talking against one of the advertisers.... BUT, I just want to give you all an FYI...I was just charged $71 on my cc because my trial period was up on free shipping.com.  I am talking bad about it since I never did get any of my monies back from shipping (I never turned anything in) but I certainly cannot afford $71 a month to be a member.  It was my own stupidity so for other newbies like me....keep track of what expenses are going on your CC so you don't go into shock like I just did!

I really don't wanna be warned so please if I violated rules, I am sorry.....I am just trying to help in case there are other people stupid like me who give out their CC to every trial thing online there is!  LOL.......... :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

At times, They tend to charge you right away on your Debit or CC!!!!  I am not sure if I am violating the rules, but I have purchased a prepaid CC (so if things doesn't go right, I will not get charged way over and it wouldn't be charged monthly away since it's prepaid CC) and just hope for the best with the site giving me the credit and things like that......  It would have cost you a little money to get a Prepaid CC, but I believe that it would be safer this way.......  I am sorry that you had to get that charge on your account.......  That's SUCKS !!!!!  :angry7:

same here it says its a free trial and in ther terms if u dont want to get charged a monthly fee u need to cancel before ur free trial is up therefore u wont get charged abunch of money for sumthing u dnt want or jus use a prepay debit card i did an offer on here one time and i cancelled my free offer (it wuz stamps.com) and they are still trying to charge my debit card even tho i cancelled but yea that y i dont really do anything that will charge my cc right away and i always cancel my free trial

I had the same experience regarding stamps (through another page). It was supposed to be a free trial, with my card only being charged AFTER the trial was up. I signed up, got a notification that I'd been credited, then cancelled my subscription. Five minutes after that, I went to my bank account to make sure a scheduled payment had gone through - and I had a $15 charge on there. Had it taken out of pending, since it wasn't supposed to be there. Went to bed. Checked my account the next day - and not only had the $15 been taken out AGAIN, it put me in the hole by $47. $15 for the charge and a $32 OSD fee. I got it straightened out with the bank, but I will never again sign up for something like that. If it ain't totally free, it ain't for me.  :sad1:

Its important to ALWAYS read the TOS on all offers.  It will usually say that it will charge your card to verify that it is a good card.  Quite a bit of the time its not just charged the $1.00 to verify its for the entire trial amount...and then it stays in pending.  It is very important to write down all offers you use your CC with and the date of the trial period.   I learned with Stamps.com as well.  I did get the money refunded but learned the lesson of doing "No Credit Card Needed" offers only!!  Live and Learn.

Guys, the cancellation talk has gotten out of hand.  Please remember to respect the advertisers.  I'll also call your attention to the FusionCash Terms of Service, section I.B.v:
Quote
Quote from: TOS
A user's account may be disqualified and his or her earnings forfeit in, but not limited to, the following cases ... He/she posts instructions for canceling any offer, a walkthrough, or any other type of tutorial or suggestion on a website. This includes but is not limited to: instructions on completing a specific offer, suggesting an offer based solely on its payout, or including cancellation web addresses or telephone numbers.

We cannot abide offer cancellation discussion because it is disrespectful to our advertisers.  Thank you for your cooperation - if you have any questions about this policy, please open a support ticket.

That's why I never touch the Free trials, as much money they might be it's not worth what could happen in the end.
