sports cars or family cars
« on: July 13, 2013, 10:13:34 am »
Who all prefers family cars over sports cars? I have both, a family car and sports car. I mainly use my mustang gt for going out with my husband on date night. I enjoy my family car because it is 4 door and easier to put my children in car along with it has more room for the whole family to sit comfortably.  ;D

I like the idea you have a family car and a date car. My husband and I are retired so he has his pickup and I have a car. this way we are both happy. sometimes we go out in his pickup and other times we go out with the car.

I love sports cars, but need to be practical for a few more years since we still have kids at home. So, right now, I prefer sanity. This means I prefer to have a family car with plenty of space for each of my ever-growing family.

While sports cars are fun, family cars are much more practical, especially for traveling (with or without kids)!!!!!

At first I thought this was a corny topic, then I read a lot of the replies. It would be nice have both, I mean who doesn't love being seen in a fabulous sporty car? Right? But, at the same time, we need our sedan's to take us on vacation's and stuff.   Now for the bizarre tidbit, as I'm typing my husband gives me a TV dinner box (yes it's true I'm not cooking because I'm on the computer) with a sweepstakes offer to win a 2013 Camaro!!!

It depends if you are single or have a family.

I prefer to have a sedan over a sports car, because I am a family man.

I have a mid-sized SUV, so I guess that's a family car.  I love my car because I can sit higher(I'm short) and see everything.  I also enjoy my hatchback trunk and sunroof.  I looked at a new version of my car and was blown away by all the new bells and whistles I don't have.  Maybe someday... ???

Sports cars are pretty, but not that comfortable, so I'm going to have to go with family cars.
