Homemade Stuff
« on: July 27, 2013, 09:27:49 pm »
Do you guys make your own things?

I made my own laundry detergent and I must say, I am very satisfied with it!

I want to make my own shampoo and conditioner one day and I wanna make my own deodorant later in the future.

Making deodorants seems really simple, but I wanna try using a different ingredient, but I don't even know if they will work!

Perhaps I will use my FC payment with the ingredients.

I really gotta get with the home cooking thing. Quit relying on fast food.  :BangHead:  :angry7:  :angel12:

I've looked into similar things on pinterest, but haven't tried anything yet.  Might try laundry detergent first, since I've heard good things.

I never made my own but it seems a lot cheaper though than just going out and buy all the expensive stuff nowadays which can be high for some people, so I might start doing some on my own

You sound like a go getter.  I have never tried to make anything myself, but I have tried other people's which I find very good!

OOh!! Jewelry making sounds awesome!! I tried it once, but failed on that. I don't get much with having nice ideas when it comes to making them. haha! Plus, I recently found out I can only wear fake jewelries for a few minutes.. i start itching.. i still wear them even for a few minutes tho.. a hhaha!

Homemade laundry detergent?  Any tips?  Tide is selling like liquid gold, people stealing from big box stores and attempting too sell door to door.

I make my own laundry soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, weed killer, ant killer, flea spray, spice mixtures, gravy mixtures and other things.  The cost savings is huge.

We enjoyed homemade stuff like foods. Me and my husband love to do things from scratch and make it good.

Homemade stuff is a great way to save money. My mother taught us to sew our own clothes and to knit our own mittens, scarves and slippers. We are thankful to her.
