August is Here

Who can believe that August is already here? Seems like the summer just flew by with a view of a few sunrises and sunsets. How did you enjoy yours? I only went  to a few local events and spent the rest of the time trying to keep up with the lawn. Soon all of that will be over and I will be glad to see the temps go back down to the highs of 80 degrees.

August 1st..  hard to believe  Haven't had much of a summer here.  chilly  then ungodly hot   rain for 18 days straight  now it chilly again  and more rain on the way

I know we still have September yet to come but gezzzz  can we have some nice days of abot 75dgs. ?? 

Haven't gotten to do much outside because of the rain.  I really want to go Fishing !!!!

Earlier in the summer we had some really hot days, here in southwest Ohio, in the 90's but the last week or so it has only been in the 70's and low to mid 80's.  Really strange for late July and early August.

 my summer went by very fast i watch my granddaughter every day every other week and she small so we go
into the pool really did go any were interesting beside beech it hard when you have a Little one
but we did enjoy play group and love being with her.

Oh yeah and school starts here in about 3 weeks. Yea. Hubby goes back to work. Will be out of my hair.
I can get 2 times more done in a day. 24/7 sucks when you can't go anywhere.  My dad takes up a lot of my time.Sure be glad when he is well if he ever gets compeletly well i don't know. But it has been a long year. Takeing him back and forth to drs.

I have 32 days left until my 55th birthday, which is September 3.  School starts next week for us; Open House is on August 5 from 2:30 to 6 pm.  I had to make sure I would be able to register my grandson into school, and I was successful in getting it done, although I had to come back home to find my voter's registration card.  Today is my grandson's brother's birthday; he is 11 today and my grandson turned 6 on July 26.  I am glad August is finally here.

  Looking forward to August.  Just spent the day working on the internet however my 60th birthday is coming up on August 22nd.  What a milestone that is whew.  Can't believe I've been here that long but it is a blessing to be alive because even though my life isn't where I want it to be, where there is life there is hope right?

Yes it is, seems to be our hottest month too. Hopefully the air conditioning units will hold out! LOL I imagine those with children are looking forward to getting the young ones back into the school routines and maybe panning out that final summer bash on Labor Day Weekend.
