August is Here

It's been a super busy month for me - I can't believe how fast the days go by!

It was a fast and quick summer so far here in Wisconsin.  It was rather a cool summer too ... there were some 80 and 90 degree days, but it did not really warm up until 2nd week of June and no real hot weather lasted much more than a week and now in early August it's mostly going to be highs just in the 70s

 I am hoping we still see plenty of nice days, doesn't seem like we have had to much of a summer yet. I have only been around home all summer and I am babysitting this year, so it has been different for me, but I love the little girl I sit for, so it is worth giving up my summer for.

I usually try to cancel August because I prefer cooler temperatures.  I haven't figured out how to "delete" this month, yet.  I'd even be willing to trade it for two Novembers because I love fall, spring and winter.

August already, this year is seriously flying by so quickly.

it is hard to believe! the stores here are putting out Christmas items already

It is nuts.  It really seems like time goes by faster the older I get and I am sure that trend will continue.  It seems like the summer just started.  Part of it might be because of the 6 straight weeks of rain I got, so it wasn't as hot as normal.

This year is going by fast. Looking forward to some cooler weather. Autumn is my favorite time of year.
