Sit-com "catch-phrase" trivia
« on: August 09, 2013, 04:25:06 pm »
Back in the "good old days"  no sit-com was complete without the most popular character having a memorable catch-phrase.I'll list a bunch of them, and you tell me what show they're from.

1."One of these days...POW! Right in the kisser!"

2."Up your nose with a rubber hose!"

3. "Kiss my grits!"

4. "Dy-no-mite!"

5."Well,of course not,don't be ridiculous."

6. "This is the big one,Elizabeth!"

7."What chu talkin',bout Willis?"

8."Sit on it!"

9."I know nothing!"

10."You rang?"

2. Happy Days (?) or Laverne and Shirley. I know the rest of it is "In your ear with a can-o-beer!"
3. Alice
4.
5. Maude (?)
6.
7.
8. Happy Days
9. Hogans Heroes
10. ?

I know who said #s 4, 6, and 7, but I don't remember the names of the shows.

Without Googling or cheating... here goes:

1."One of these days...POW! Right in the kisser!" (The main dude from The Honeymooners)

2."Up your nose with a rubber hose!" (The curly haired dude from Welcome Back Kotter)

3. "Kiss my grits!" (Flo from Alice)

4. "Dy-no-mite!" (JJ from What's Happenin')

5."Well,of course not,don't be ridiculous."  (Can't remember)

6. "This is the big one,Elizabeth!"  (Fred from Sanford and Son)

7."What chu talkin',bout Willis?"  (Arnold from One Day at a Time (if that's the name... can't remember)

8."Sit on it!" (Someone from Happy Days)

9."I know nothing!" (Klink from Hogan's Heroes)

10."You rang?"  (Can't remember)

Anybody gonna score this?...  :)

Bingo!That one was kinda tough.

#5 is tough,but it's from a late 80's/early 90's sitcom.
