I can see the pro's and con's of this as well!  I have been to some restaurants where people having smaller children letting them scream, throw food, or do whatever they want.  The parents were totally ignoring the situation while I as a customer was completely annoyed!

This is a case of the many ( I hope it's many ) having to pay for the few who bring their children to a restaurant and expect everyone else to put up with noise and sloppy eating habits. I know some people who bring their children and you would never know they were there. If you do they remove them immediately. But said to say I also know a few people who can't control their children and have given up trying. They expect others to deal with the commotion and mess they cause. When you pay good money to go out to eat you shouldn't have to deal with crying children or yelling parents.

It seems that they would be limiting their income by refusing to feed the entire family.  I understand no smoking, no shirts/shoes no service; however, some of those restaurants might be defeating their selves by discriminating against their customers babies.

Have a great day!

I have seen several articles lately about restaurants banning children under a certain age, or after a certain time of day. What are your thoughts on this?

Unless the establishment is a night club - NO WAY - Those kids
will be customers one day - keep them entertained with fun stuff,
BE CREATIVE  :) :)
