I don't have anybody to refer.  And in the past when I have referred people to programs they go directly to the site and don't join thru my referral so then I don't get credit.  Then when I ask about I ask about it they act all stupid and say they don't know what happened.  Grrr.  Had this happen twice.  So now I don't even bother.

That's why I almost always use a URL shortener such as bitly. If you have a blog or advertise you can use this instead of your FC referral link, and you can also track where your clicks are coming from.
