Steam- put your head under a towel and over a pot of boiled water.
If you have some Vick's put that in the water.

I went to dr. yesterday for sinus issues; had acute sinusitus!  Got 2 shots, one antibiotic and the other was cortizone (?)  Was given RX for generic Flonase, antibiotics, and told to get Musinex D (which has to come from behind the pharmacy counter)  Dr. also said to use saline nasal spray several times a day and use NetiPot and take Tylenol.  Had to buy new NetiPot but haven't been able to get a flow going I'm so stopped up.  I used to put a pot of water on the stop to boil, then added Vicks Vaporub and held a towel over my head to breathe in the vapor.  It sometimes helped but not every time.  But as far as something inexpensive that would be my suggestion, plus the NetiPot and saline nasal spray.  Good luck and hope you feel better soon!

It doesn't burn if you don't use too much salt.

You can also buy premixed solutions to use, so you wouldn't have to worry about getting it right.

Lots of steam, I sure hope you are feeling better by now, the original post has been a while back. I do know that steam with a towel over my head always helped a lot.
