Do you buy organic foods?

It is ok to eat organic food but its much expensive... Why pay more if you can get to pay less and most of them are same nutrient

we buy most fresh food and meat organic, it is more filling and takes less then the other.

I never believe in organic foods. Some of them are so expensive. I just try to budget wisely and by doing that planting a vegetable garden tends to save a me a lot more. I have also noticed that it is more convenient to just go to the nearest grocery store than to drive to the next town or 2 to find organic food stores.

All of my canning that  i have been doing is all organic. Of course i am lucky to be able to do it. My brother and sister-in-law have 2 big 30x60 green houses. So what does not sell at the farmers market i get part of it . It is great to have several different kinds of relish put up and lots and lots of salsa. This next week is will be just putting up fresh tomatoes for the winter. Of course while they are busy with the greenhouses i am busy taking care of our dad and running him all over the country to doctors and getting groceries and such. So it is a good trade off. And it is so good in the winter.

There was some study done on one of those news programs that basically stated that there is no real health benefit to buying organic over non-organic foods. I'm not too sure I buy that study 100% because I believe there are a lot of harmful ingredients and in the case of fruit and vegetables, pesticides that can do harm to us. So, I'm a little conflicted as to what to really believe...

In general, I don't buy organic. Organic food is more expensive and I really don't see a significant difference in health benefits. Sure it might be better for us, but is it worth the price difference?

I sometimes buy organic for specific foods that eat everyday but some organic items are so expensive compared to non organic.

Yes, I buy organics. I buy organic meats and carrots(not to much difference in price). I like the cage-free eggs, too. I think the fewer hormones and chemicals we ingest, the better off we are. However, the genetic canned food is something we don't know about. There is no labeling for genetic foods.
