Recently I've seen some organic items that were cheaper than the non organic so in those cases I'll buy.

I try to buy organic when I can, but it is so expensive....organics can quickly bust my budget during the month.

of course, i rarely eat rocks or carboard, most of what i eat comes from plants or animals. there are organics that i do not eat like humans and feces, but the majority of my diet is organic. I do eat salt NaCl2 because all my muscles and nerves use it for action potential. when i was young people did eat dirt to get there inorganics but i prefer to take a vitimin pill to get my minerals.

Exactly! Lol! ;D

Also, most of my food has been genetically modified from its natural state... For example, I prefer corn and wheat to maze and grass, since I can better digest them, they taste better, and have more nutrients. At least now science has a way to decide which exact trait we want to promote in our foods rather than trusting to the luck of the draw through cross pollination and meticulous work through several generations with a particular crop before finally getting want we want (with who knows what other traits which may or may not be as beneficial for us).

It's hard to buy organic for a family.  we buy organic (my auntie and I) but it's just the two of us and we don't eat that much variety.

No. Waste of money if you ask me, and some of that stuff actually tastes *worse*.

sometimes gmo is bad

I think GMO is really bad ... I always try to buy non-gmo foods because who knows what is done to produce them.  Read James Rollins The Doomsday Key ... it is fiction based on fact.  There are some pretty interesting facts that Mr. Rollins has wrapped his fiction around.

How can you tell which are really organic and which aren't?
