Scariest thing you have ever seen?

I was up late on the computer one night when I saw the glow of a blue-green orb float down the hall.  I jumped up and looked down the hall but it was gone. I believe that my first was haunted because I would hear weird things in the attic but that was the first visual.

A few years back, by husband and I were first on the scene of a motorcycle accident heading home from our state fair. Someone had done a  u-turn in front of him and it had trapped him under the bike, leaving him unconsious. From news reports-he ended up leaving the hospital a couple weeks later. Freaked me out for quite a few weeks.

Back in the 70s, we lived out in the country in a big old isolated house on a hill. We came home one night and when I walked into the living room something raised up off the couch. It turned out to be my German shepherd who had gotten into the house. It was dark and all I could see was moonlight and his shadow. I was convinced it was a person. Scared the crap out of me.
