I agree! I find that people try to redeem themselves by half admitting the truth or throwing blame/making excuses and to me that defeats the purpose of trying to clean up the situation.

Not only do you have to face the truth, you also have to admit when you are wrong. If you do both, you will be a much better person inside and out.

I don't like it when someone close to me lies to me. Can't stand that at all.

Better the truth and set things straight the first time around.

You have to be willing to face the truth even if it hurts. Hard times comes with valuable lessons. It's okay to let go. Sometimes you need to let go so that you do not loose yourself.

That's so true! Not accepting the truth does not nullify its effects. It is better to face the truth so you can transition to finding solutions or moving on with your life. Yes, hard times do usually come with valuable lessons.

I completely agree with this even though sometimes knowing the truth can hurt. I prefer the truth anytime; at-least if you know it then you are able to work on the situation or self to fix it or change it. I don't like dealing with people who only tell you what they think you may want to hear. People that do this do not score any brownie points with me. :peace:

Those who are not willing to face the truth are in for a long rough life in my opinion.  Without facing the truth it is impossible to learn from our mistakes and therefore have a better future.
