What if you just click the ad? Mine usually go away after a bit, but if yours aren't you may have to click the ad for it to go away. It stinks, but it may work

I hate it for everyone else but I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble entering the captcha codes.  There is a pop up that covers the captcha code phrase.  I've tried clicking on the pop up but it only opens a new window and when I close that window, it is still covering the phrase.  Very frustrating.  As if it isn't hard enough to remember to enter the code every 10 minutes! I started doing the radio because most of the time when I try to use the search, I'm told my search was invalid even though it is a legitimate inquiry!
Have a wonderful day!

The ad comes up in a separate window, over the whole page. I've just been x'ing out of it, closing the ad window.
I aint clicking on no ad! My computer has enough problems!  ;D

Thankfully the pops up don't happen in Radio Loyalty every 10 minutes/every time I need to enter the captcha!

They are very annoying.  If the popup doesn't disappear on its own when I am ready to enter the captcha, I refresh the code and usually get to see what the captcha phrase is

You know that thing that when an ad is clicked you get paid for the people who clicks on your ads. Could be RL trying to make more money for each click to enter captcha we are also clicking their embedded ad and they get paid for the click. Hmmmm ???

I am using chrome and I always paused the adblock, I only unpaused it if I want to watch videos so that videos will load. When I paused it, no pop ups.  ;D ;D

Yeah , these pop-up ads in a new window have been happening to me lately.  Annoying! I wish RL would stop doing that.

I, too, was getting these annoying popup ads in both Firefox and Chrome.  Sometimes multiple would appear for the same CAPTCHA.  I found a link to their support to ask about these new popup ads, and inform them about the annoyance and interruption, as well as some people I found were receiving not so kosher ads..and that people were starting to indicate they were dropping using the service due to them.

I received a reply back from that inquiry and the RadioLoyalty team said they had added new "under" popup ads, and these must have been what we were getting, only on these browsers they were "over" popups.  They indicated they decided to remove these ads, so we shouldn't be experiencing this issue any more.

If we have problems, they suggested clearing our browser cache.

I have noticed in the past few days I have not been getting those popup ads, but have started noticing the CAPTCHA disappearing on my unexpectedly.  I haven't cleared my cache in a bit, so I'm going to try that to see if the disappearing CAPTCHA issue is related to caching.

If you've had these issues, hopefully the popups are gone for you too.  And any "new" issue, try clearing your cache first to see if that "new" issue goes away.  If not, I suggest navigating to the RadioLoyalty main site (you do a search to find it), and find their support email, then send them a pleasant email describing your issue, concern, browser and operating system.  Perhaps the latest fix may still have a bug for them to work out.

Good to know their team does address issues reported by their listeners.  :)

I haven't had any pop-ups on Radio Loyalty today or yesterday.Maybe RL got too many complaints about them and got rid of them.I hope they did.The pop-ups were getting to be very annoying.

What do you to do pause/unpause the adblock on Chrome?

I found the Adbock application for Chrome and just added it.  Still early but it seems to block the ads well enough.  But I haven't figure out how to turn it off.
So how do you turn it off and then back on again?

Day 2 with adblock:  I've discovered that the list of radio stations no longer comes up; all I can get is electric FM which I don't like.    Tried Google Chrome on my desktop (no adblock) and the list shows up.

Tried searching for adblock on my computer and couldn't find it; nor can I find any references to an adblock application.

The search didn't come up with anything, but I did see a ABP icon on my main webaddress line and it turned out to be the AdBlock Application icon.  It gave me the option to disable it for the page I was on.  When I did so for the Radio Loyalty page and refreshed, I did get the Radio station listing back.  When I enabled it, I did not lose the stations.

When I right clicked the icon I got the option is uninstalling the application.  So I'm okay for now.

Yeah that gets annoying.  I have enough problems with my computer locking and page cannot be displayed.

Yeah this is a problem that has definitely been getting worse over time. It's one of the reason I no longer complete this offer as much as I use to.  :bad:

I also having been getting alot of pop ups during radio loyalty.  It also doesn't load and run very smooth as the pop ups are trying to come in.  Hopefully this will be fixed soon.  I love listening to the radio while I am doing other things and get paid for it.

Since I added the Adblocker App for Chrome (a couple of days ago), I have not noticed any problems with ads covering the captcha.  There have been significantly fewer ads that interfere with the music.

The only problem I've had is when I first enter the Radio Loyalty window (with the ADP icon in red -- indicating that the adblocker is enabled -- I do not get the list of radio stations.  I have to disable the adblocker (click on the ADP icon and unclick enable); refresh the site.  I then get the list of stations and can select the one I want.  Then I enable the ADP icon.

I still get the captcha and the ads associated with the captcha but none of the cover-up ads.

I think the adblocker is also reducing the strain on my computer because there are fewer ads that require Adobe Flash.
