I went to the store here in my neighborhood and seen they have many other large roast such as; goose, duck, large roast beef chunk styles, (haven't seen that in a long while), large whole salmon, fancy Rock Cornish hens, and turkey.  We like turkey.  I want to add this, I seen the largest can of spam at the store I never seen that before.

I am giving some thought to having roast beef for this thanksgiving since nobody really likes a turkey and we have enough of them in government right now.

I will cook Turduckin for Thanksgiving. This is a family favorite; which is always high on the request list during the holidays. If you are not familiar with this I will explain. It is a large bonelees chicken breast that is inside a boneless duck breast which is inside a large boneless turkey breast. You slice all the breast like you are going to jelly roll them and lay as I listed one on top of the other ending with the turkey. You roll it all up and tie it with chef's string and bake it in the oven. It is wonderful! The color contrast is beautiful on the plate and it is the best of all because you can please anyone with this dish.

We will have turkey and ham of course. Am not much in the way of beef, although will cook it once in a while for hubby, but for the most i usually eat very little of it. I prefer chicken or tuna fish.  I think it goes back to always having to help with the butchering of  beef and and pork.  But it is each to his own.

We will be having turkey as usual.  I associate Thanksgiving with turkey.  I also got it for free, when I bought a certain amount, which I did.  A nice $20 saving! ;)

I am planning to fix the best roast beef ever. I will cook it with dry onion soup, wine and water.

We always go to a large family dinner, and we usually have turkey and ham.  I do not do the cooking, as we all bring a dish.  I do like the Turduckin idea, though.  It sounds great.

Definitely turkey we love turkey and sometimes have it during the year besides Thanksgiving - we usually end up going to a friends or to relatives for Thanksgiving but regardless we still make a turkey the day before or the day after so we have turkey and stuffing for sandwiches yum yum

We will be having turkey.  I usually get one anywhere between 20 & 25 pounds.
