All my cakes, pies, cookies...hmmm...neither store bought nor personally made.  Those types of things aren't part of my diet in any way.  For health reasons, plus I have never had a sweat tooth anyway.

Both... Time permitting (and if I feel like it) bake otherwise I'd buy but only from certain types of bakeries.

My preference is to bake - blondies, brownies, apple cake, banana bread, pumpkin bread, etc

I enjoy baking, but sometimes the options are so cheap and I want something on demand that I still feel compelled to buy on occasion.

If I have time to bake, I prefer homemade much more, but alas, often it is store bought.

Both - it depends on how much time I have and what the event is.  I prefer home baked goods as well - that way I know what's been put in them.  Funny story.  My daughter had a girl scout cookie exchange when she was in 2nd or 3rd grade.  We stopped at Jewel bought some cookies from the bakery, a holiday plate and holiday press n' seal.  We made it look all pretty in the car outside right before the event started.  Everyone complimented us on how delicious our cookies were.  There were the same cookies other parents had provided in the same packaging from jewel layed out on the selection.  We never did tell our secret.

I pretty much store buy everything.  We don't mind, we are used to it.  Once in a while when I taste something totally home made and it just melts in my mouth.....it makes me want to cook/bake.  I do try once in a while.  But for the most part it takes too much time and money.   :-\

i make all my pies cookies and cakes from scratch they just taste so much better to me and my family they won't eat them other wise plus it makes me feel good to do it also  :star:
I find myself baking and preparing meals more now than ever. I want to know what is in my food. So many preservatives and additives, sodium and other GM food products. Fresh is best, and organic is better. You are what you eat as they say!

I make and bake my cornbread from stratch.  My husband prefers it that way.  I bought some tortilla pans and used them to make star cornbread.  I finally reverted back to baking in my cake pans.  I plan to buy a rolling pin and cutters because I want to make some homemade cookies.  My grandmother used to make old fashioned teacakes.

I pretty much bake everything. Like today i made 10doz cookies. They freeze so well and my dad can have them even though he diabetic. Because there is no sugar in them. It has honey, peanutbutter, butter and lots of unsweetened applesauce plus some dried fruit, nuts and unsweetened coconut. I make a lot so that i don't have to do it so often and always have some for him. Hubby likes them too. :silly:
