No, but I've worn glasses for over 20 years.

I had always wanted glasses because I thought that they made people look so intelligent up until I really started to need them! Three years ago I started working full time on a computer screen and needed to get reading glasses.  I have been told that they make me look debonair but I hate relying on them.  I usually don't need them until I have worked 4 sixteen hour shifts in front of a computer screen.  Even then I don't need them when I am driving or watching television.  My vision comes back one hundred percent after I have escaped a computer for three days!  I have just had four days off and practically see through concrete walls!

I've been wearing glasses for the past two years.  I wish I didn't need them as they are a nuisance.  Seems like the lenses always needs cleaning.  But I need them for all my reading.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 4. I hate them in the summer. The nose piece always rubs up against my skin. It hurts. I like contacts too but they always fall out. They just don't stay in.

I've had to wear glasses before I started work, but I do get eye fatigue every once in a while if I'm on the computer for long periods of time. Usually this is due to either bright colors and / or reading small print. There are a few things that I've learned to help reduce this, however...

  • Try to break up your day. Even if you can't take an official break, just take a minute or two to look away from the computer screen. The best is to look at something in the distance.
  • Turn down the resolution and DPI on your screen so that all of the images and print are larger.
  • Turn down the brightness and contrast on your screen.
  • If possible, change the colors on the screen or the Window that you are working on such that it uses darker colors. For example, I use a special text editor (TextPad) for my programming, and I'm able to change the colors so that it looks like the old "green screens" (black background with green text).

I've worn glasses since I was little, but I've never had to get anything special to wear at my computer.

No not yet ... eye glasses will probably be a thing of the past 20 years from now when the eye laser surgery gets cheaper and they is a much larger samlple size and smaller chance of "bad" surgery

Yes, unfortunately, but I think it's due to old age.

I've worn glasses or contacts since I was a child. I like to take them off when working with the computer tho' and need them mainly for seeing things far away.

I didn't realize there were special glasses for computers?  I do a lot more time on the computer, compared to when I was younger. 8)

I had to get glasses but my eyes seem to be getting worse with the glasses so I stopped wearing them.
