Oh you and me both. I am still looking for a remedy for my skin during cold weather. My hands are just scaly and not even have regular skin. They feel like a toasted piece of bread. I keep seeing the video for dove lotion but my wife says, she doesn't like dove.

I am also a fellow dry skin sufferer. I religiously use various lotions each day with little relief.

My doctor told me to use Eucerin cream when I had such dry skin after major surgery.

I used Eucerin, too, but ran out right now. It worked great on my leg. Funny, though, the radiology oncologist recommended AquaPhor and gave me samples. I tried it but it blistered over my surgical scar and the area got infected. It took a month to cure the infection and now I have a large brown area where the AquaPhor was originally placed.

My skin is very itchy all year, too, and it drives me nuts. I'm forever scratching myself open, especially on my shoulders, arms, and legs. I used a moisturizing body wash and I'm good for a day, then I start all over again.  :(

both my husband and my 1 year old have eczema really bad.  make sure you dont go with any lotion that has floral scents as it with actually irritate your skin more.  we use gold bond unscented .  it works really good and feels completely different from other lotions its thicker and more creamy.

I find Nivea works well, especially for that area under your nose that gets raw after a cold. Doesn't have that stinging affect.

I also like to use olive oil for very dry skin. My skin absorbs it quickly.

This winter has been the worse for me. The only thing that's been working is Vaseline Total Moisture lotion.

Cornhuskers.  It does incredible things for the skin.  Even my husband will use it and he refuses every other lotion because he says they're greasy!  Men.  I also make my own soap!
