Making jokes about someone who has died is really tasteless.  Try thinking with a conscience and how you would feel if it was your parent, brother, or sister.

Yes, it is too early for Micheal Jackson jokes.  I wish people would have a little more respect for the dead.

It's not too early. Why? Because Michael Jackson jokes are not new. They've been around forever. They probably will be around for a long time after his death. People will joke. Some may not have senses of humor, but there will always be ones that do. One famous guy dying does not change that.
Making jokes about someone who has died is really tasteless.  Try thinking with a conscience and how you would feel if it was your parent, brother, or sister.

If the person in question had a sense of humor, it would be honoring them. Hell, if I die, I WANT people to joke about me. Not saying the same about him, but aren't we remembering him by doing this?
And the fact that dear Michael is dead will never have much effect on people joking about him, except he's no longer around to be offended.

i say its not to early cause ppl have been making MJ jokes for the longest! it really wouldnt matter if you said it now or later because no matter what its still funny or interesting to look back on. MJ did a lot of things in life and weather you joke about him or defend it only makes him more popular. so on with the jokes it will help him stay alive in our hearts and remind us that he was real and that he was a great man for all that he did.

It's classless, his children have to live with the jokes for their sakes it should be stopped. They shouldn't have to deal with it, that was their father. It probably wasn't and isn't funny to them to see those types of things. I wouldn't want my children to have to listen to the insulting remarks or jokes.
