I have eaten rabbit on a few occasions.  I agree rabbit like squirrel and other small creatures taste a little like chicken.  I actually prefer the rabbit or squirrel over chicken.  I don't recall if I have ever tried frog legs but I love chicken legs and I have heard that frog legs tastes like chicken as well.

Oh yes, i wish i could get some and have it for dinner, but it is so expansive to buy. Grandma raised them for sale when i was a kid and we were always eating rabbit. i was raised a country girl. We ate, deer, antalope, elk, rabbit, quail . I have also had frog legs and gator. I tried coon and squirrel and thought they were a little greasy.  Just will not eat bugs and worms not that can turn your tummy.

My late grandmother had eaten rabbit, but I never have.  It was the idea of it not being a very appetizing meal for me.  Good luck to you and your husband. :bad: :bad: :bad: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

When growing up on a farm, yes we often ate rabbit.  It's a great taste.

Fry it like southern fried chicken.  It is very tasty.  Kind of ironic to your story, my husband tried to buy some rabbits to eat but the guy wouldn't sell them to him if he was going to eat them!
Have a wonderful day!

I have had rabbit and you cook it just like any other meat.  You can stew it, roast it, BBQ it, Fry it just about any way you can eat a chicken.  When I was growing up we would hunt them in the desert for their meat and skin them to sell their fur to the boot companies around El Paso for lining for their boots and gloves.
