Payment Denied
« on: December 30, 2013, 09:33:33 am »
I have taken surveys on FC for some time now, and over the last few months after I put my Cashout request in I get an email with an update to my account.  The update state that my payment has been revoked and FC deduct it from my Cashout request. It seems like something fishy is going on.

I took the survey on December 14th and I recevied this email on December 30th.

The advertiser for FC Survey: Food Study has revoked payment for your signup. We have adjusted your account to remove the credit for FC Survey: Food Study and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We are unable to provide compensation in the event of advertiser revocation. Typically, advertisers revoke credit because they determined that you did not have a legitimate interest, or if they detect fraudulent activity such as the use of a pre-paid or un-billable credit card. Payments are also revoked if you have signed up for the offer (or a similar one) in the past, as advertisers may consider such sign-ups to be duplicate and fraudulent.

FC Surveys are revoked for one of several possible reasons: your answers were rejected by the survey provider, or you completed the survey too quickly, or (in some cases) you were required to complete a second step (e.g. attend a focus group) and you failed to do so.

If you have any questions, please log in to your account and open a support ticket.

NOTE: This is a one-time notification email sent from an unmonitored email box. Replies to this email will not be read.

It happens....  Do you remember that particular study?
I'm sure I wouldn't, I do so many on so many sites.
Hard to keep track of them all... even harder to refute if there is a problem.
How much was the revoked credit?
If it was less than a dollar or so, probably best to let it go and move on, IMHO.

I have never had this.  Usually if it freezes I just don't get credit for it any way.  God Bless

It rarely happens but it does happen. I've had one be revoked almost 2 months later long after I had received that payment and had requested the next one. I take way too many surveys to even begin to remember what the survey was about or why it was denied so I just move on

Have you opened a support ticket to see what's going on? It happens occasionally that surveys get revoked, but if it happens regularly, maybe you should ask to find out if somehow you could be doing something wrong, or your computer settings are messed up or something.

It has happened to me before, but it's rare. I've been able to complete so many surveys, that having a survey credit revoked it a minor irritant. It never affects my cash out because I always have more than the minimum $25. Just move on and keep making money.

Sorry this happened to you. I have never had this happen to me yet and hopefully it never will. If I do not qualify for the FusionCash survey sometimes they offer me to do another survey from someone else. I do not accept the offer. I prefer to do only FusionCash surveys.  :)

I've had one survey reverse credit, but I'm almost certain it was my fault. It was one of the commercial surveys and I did do one where I got distracted by my spousal equivalent and completely missed what two of the commercials were about. I would have been annoyed if it wasn't "my fault" and/or it paid a lot.

I have had that happen one time and the revocation was quite some time after I had received the credit. The denial can happen for any number of reasons, but you just have to move forward. It's nothing "fishy" on the part of FusionCash....the market research company makes the final decision.

I have had three payments revoked in the years that I have been on Fusion Cash. One time, it was a mistake so the money was given back to me along with an extra $1 for the mistake. The last time was about two or three months ago and I received an email just like you received except that it was for a different survey. I posted about this on forum just like yourself and administrator gave me a very good response as to why this might have happened. You can open a support ticket for further information.

Fortunately, this sort of thing does not happen too often.

Do you know the name of the survey that was revoked? Others might have been revoked for the same survey. I suggest looking around to see if anyone has posted about the same one. I've had two surveys revoked, but once so many other people did that FC gave us all the credit back (Out of their own pocket too!)
