I didn't know is was National Bird Day.  I should have gotten my parrot a gift.

awesome! I don't think I knew there was a bird day.  I love birds too.  I have a bird feeder right outside my window where I sit every day.  I also have one on the back deck.  So far we have had two birds build their nests on my back deck!!

We keep a flock of them in our yard all winter long.  I spend as much on food for them as I do us!  They pay us back in the summer by helping keep the insects down in our yard.

Every morning there are birds chirping. One of them gets on the porch and runs up and down the railing, chirping away. I didn't know today was Bird Day.
